-Design Intensives have a one day turnaround for a custom brand design, however, there is some prep work involved. Below are the steps we'll take when booking a Design Intensive:

Discovery Call / Book Your Project
We'll schedule a discovery call to chat through your project goals and decide if a Design Intensive is a good fit for your business. From here, we'll book your project and secure your spot on our calendar!

Week 1
Design Questionnaire: Once your project is booked, you'll receive a Design Questionnaire that you'll have one week to complete. We'll also schedule our Prep Call for the following week, week two.

Week 2
Prep Call: On this call, we'll discuss your mood board and overall visual direction for your branding. The mood board will include font selections, color palette, and an image mood board containing the visual direction for logos/branding. We'll also schedule our Design Intensive Day for the following week, week three.

Week 3
Design Intensive Day: On this day you will need to be close to your computer and available to quickly answer emails and hop on calls if needed. We'll have a mid-day check-in to make sure we're on the right track, and in some cases, we may have a live share-screen video call where I will design and make edits with your input live. The ability to communicate quickly and share my screen with you cuts out the back-and-forth of traditional brand design and ensures we're getting the most out of our day. This—along with the prep work—is how we'll deliver a full brand design in just one day!

Pop the Champagne!
After we've ensured you're thrilled with the results, and by the end of the day, your new custom brand will be complete and your final files will be delivered! Time to celebrate your new brand!

design intensive: 1 day brand design / 3 weeks overall

AFD will never expect you to work or answer emails on a weekend or holiday, and even if I reply to you on a working day in my timezone, you can answer the next business day in your timezone.

Content & feedback late fees

Failure to meet content due dates for website text, images, and any questionnaires will result in your project being bumped to the next available spot on our calendar. Additionally, you will be required to pay a 50% rescheduling fee to re-book your project back in.

Client feedback is due within 7 days of receiving any designs throughout duration of project. A late fee of $35.00 per day will be charged past 7 days.

We implement late fees to ensure that clients are serious about moving forward with the project and committed to having content prepared and ready to go, resulting in a streamlined, efficient, and enjoyable project. We book projects several months ahead of time and only work with a set number of clients per year. Our project timelines and due dates ensure that we give our clients the proper amount of time that a project deserves. As a result, we turn away clients for your reserved time slot upon booking. If your content is not ready by the due date it can affect our entire schedule and all clients.

Why are there late fees?:
