Before announcing your exciting news, use the checklist below to ensure your new brand is implemented across every client touchpoint.

Implementing Your New Brand

A simple checklist to ensure consistency

You invested in securing this new season for your brand because you wanted to transform your business, charge your worth, and book your dream client. Let's ensure you achieve those goals by launching thoughtfully. Below are 12 simple steps to generate interest and excitement every time you launch any new product, service, or brand.

A Strategic Launch Strategy

Simple Steps for a Successful Launch

01. Create An Incentive

Although your followers will be happy to cheer you on, it's likely they don't care quite as much about your new brand or website as you do. To give them a reason to click through to your site, you need to create incentive. Offer a free download, host a giveaway, or publish a valuable blog post to make it irresistible for them to visit your site and engage with your new brand.

02. Start A Countdown

Heighten anticipation and garner excitement by creating a countdown to your launch day. Keep it simple, and remember that attention spans are short these days: 3-5 days beforehand is plenty. Sharing Instagram posts or stories is the perfect way to stir up that extra bit of excitement amongst your audience. You can say something like, "We have an exciting announcement in store for you! 3 days to go until the big reveal!"

03. Share A Sneak Peek

Build excitement with your audience by unveiling a small piece of your new identity. Consider posting a sneak-peek of your color palette, a brand icon, or a close-up of a single part of your branding/web design. The key is not to give away the full product, but to offer a small preview of what's to come—further incentivizing your audience to check back in on launch day.

04. Inspire Emotion

Inspiring emotion is one of the most effective ways to get your ideal client to connect with your new brand. Share a relatable story about how far you’ve come, what this transformation means to you, or the benefit your clients can expect to see from your renewed identity.

05. Announce To Your Email List

If you don't yet have an email list, now is the perfect time to start! Even if you only have a few people on your list, share your big news and celebrate your new brand with the intention of driving quality traffic to your site. Don’t forget to include past clients to remind them of how amazing you are!

06. Write A Blog Post

Writing a blog post will help to direct traffic to your site, which is always a top priority. Consider drafting a post where you tell the complete story you want your audience to hear about your branding journey and show off your full collection of launch graphics. Don’t just speak about what the new identity means to you—frame the story in a way that talks about the benefit you wanted to bring clients with this project. Then, use social media to share and link to the post.

07. Triple Check Website And Socials

Consistency is key! A day or two before launch, use the list above to triple-check that your new brand is implemented across every last client touchpoint before unveiling your new designs and making the big announcement.

08. Include A CTA (Call To Action)

Don’t forget to tell your audience what action you want them to take. Be sure to include a CTA at the bottom of your social post(s) that encourages followers to head to your website (and make it easy for them to do so by including the link in your bio) and one at the bottom of your blog post that encourages them to schedule a consultation or explore a certain page on your website.

09. Involve Your Industry Friends

Ask your industry friends to celebrate with you virtually—and make it easy for them to do so by giving them shareable launch graphics and swipe copy. (The less work they have to do, the better). Be sure to also tag any professionals involved in bringing your new brand to life (like your designer and copywriter), which will encourage them to reshare—ultimately helping your announcement reach a far larger following.
